Week after week, Geoff volunteers his time to water and care for them, helping keep our town colourful, vibrant and welcoming for everyone. Matariki reminds us of the importance of whānau, community, gratitude, and caring for one another. Celebrate Matariki in Pōneke this weekend ✨ Take time to reflect, reconnect and look ahead with whānau and friends at Matariki events happening across the city. Wander the waterfront at Matariki Ahi Kā (9–12 July), a free evening experience filled with fire, projections, live performances, kai and moving ceremonies honouring loved ones who have passed. 🎶 You could also check out Matariki Nights (8–11 July), bringing four nights of live music, art, storytelling, kai and connection to venues across Wellington.
